MENTOR COACHING

“What beauty emerges when there is a pure open space for coachee and coach to meet and have an experience with the intention of growing someone’s skills, abilities, and confidence”.

This was expressed to me by my own Mentor Coach, and it captures the heart of the space I create for my own Mentees as they are on their journey towards personal and professional mastery.

Being committed to this journey myself, I understand the path to certification takes tremendous dedication, commitment, and a great degree of vulnerability while we develop and hone our skills, competence, and confidence as Professional Coaches.

The deep and solemn respect I hold for my Mentees as they build and develop their ICF Competencies is the foundation upon which I draw from when partnering with my Mentees in co-creating that “pure and open space” for beauty and understanding to emerge.

The International Coaching Federation describes Mentor Coaching as a process that “provides professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency and capability demanded by the desired credential level” and “consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process”.

As your partner in this collaborative process, my approach to Mentoring goes deeper and encompasses not only supporting my Mentees in building their skills and competencies towards their desired credential, but also towards building their coaching practice, and supporting their own personal development and growth.

ONE-ON-ONE MENTOR COACHING

This option is the perfect option for when you are preparing to submit your application for your ACC or PCC credential, if you are an ACC wanting to renew your credential, or if you simply prefer a one-on-one approach, as these sessions provide a laser-focus specific to you and your unique and original coaching style.

In total the plan includes 10, 60-minute, one-on-one Mentor sessions conducted via Zoom.  Sessions will encompass:

  • A detailed review of up to 3 recorded coaching sessions (recordings can range in length from 30-minutes to 60-minutes)

  • A comprehensive report will be provided to you detailing observed evidence of ICF competencies demonstrated in your coaching session with your client and will reflect any observed impact for your client

  • “Feed-forward” sessions will follow the review of each recording and are intended to support you in identifying areas of strength and to target opportunities for your development

  • Throughout these sessions we will also explore how to overcome any coaching barriers and create more flow and ease in your own unique and original coaching style

  • Support in preparing for your Core Knowledge Assessment with the ICF

ON-GOING MENTOR COACHING

This option is perfect for you if you are an ACC or PCC credentialed ICF Coach wishing to refresh or upgrade your skills, or if you are pursuing your ACC or PCC credentials and would prefer to enter into an extended Mentor Coaching agreement beyond the 10-hour requirement of the ICF.

We would typically meet two times per month, however, sessions can be scheduled at your pace and are 60-minutes in duration.

If you have specific requirements you need met for your particular coach training program, I am happy to talk about them with you and we can design a program to meet those needs.
